Prof. Robert James Cerfolio is currently Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Section of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated from medical school in 1988 and later elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). He was inducted into his high school Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997 and his college Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. In April 2010, he received the James H. Estes Family Lung Cancer Research Endowed Chair. Recently he has developed and championed a completely portal 4-arm robotic approach to thoracic surgery and now has performed more than anyone else in the world, over 1,000. He was recently elected one of the youngest Presidents of the Southern Thoracic Surgery Association

Professor Viroj Wiwanitkit is a medical professor and Asian Scholar. He is presently a visiting University Professor, Hainan Medical University, China. He has more than 950 international journal publications and 150 international textbook publications. He is editor in chief and editorial board of more than 40 journals. He has ever been invited to be keynote speakers of many international conferences. He is the Thai scientists with the most number of publications. He is a guest lecturer of many universities.

Vasiliki E. Kalodimou MSc, Ph.D is the director of the Flow Cytometry-Research and Regenerative Medicine Department at IASO Hospital in Athens, Greece. She has studied and worked with progenitor cells from placenta, umbilical cord, and adipose tissue along with their applications in regenerative medicine and flow cytometry, with publications in the field, including research fellowships. She has published 2 books about flow cytometry, the Greek edition was published in 2010 and in 2013 the book was published from AABB Press USA and was placed as student reference material in Stanford University library, USA. Her new book: A Handbook to Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Regenerative Medicine was published this year by Speg. Co.
